2. Maximize the Impact of Wood
“There is not one unmarried sheet of drywall within the complete residence,” says Kay. “Every wall and ceiling is wooden plank.” To achieve a nostalgic experience, Kay and Curt held off at the gypsum wallboard and opted for natural wood, leaving the beams uncovered whenever possible. “Wood brings warm temperature and character that simply can not be matched by way of some other cloth,” says Kay.
