1. Buckingham Palace was the first official home of Queen Victoria

It is a known fact that many royal families have resided at Buckingham Palace. But Queen Victoria was the very first monarch who lived in Buckingham Palace. The architectural marvel was transferred to the Royal by the 1761 monarchy. This was the year George III bought this place for his wife, Charlotte, the Queen of England. Charlotte.

5. Buckingham Palace consists of more than 700 rooms

Many thousands of people have been in Buckingham Palace throughout the years. And we’re sure they would have discovered only some of the 775 rooms. The palace houses 52 rooms, including the royal and guest bedrooms, and 188 spaces for staff with 78 bathrooms and 19 staterooms.

Not only was Queen Elizabeth seen sitting in the ballroom at Buckingham Palace, but her family members, including Prince Phillip and Prince Edward, and his wife and children, were also in the palace. In addition, the staff of over 800 is based at the castle and considers it home.

8. The royals did not leave Buckingham Palace throughout World War II

It is widely known the fact that Buckingham Palace was a massive attack target when London was bombarded throughout World War Two. Although the royals were warned to evacuate the palace to ensure their safety and security, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth did not leave and maintained their peace.

Edward Jones, a kid, captivated entirely by the Royal family, attempted to enter Buckingham Palace three times and was successful. He was also arrested every time. The child also managed to take the Queen’s underwear Elizabeth and food items from Queen Elizabeth’s food preparation areas. He also revealed to the media that he had sat on the throne of Queen Elizabeth.

Charles Becomes the King of England Post Queen Elizabeth’s Demise

The eldest son of Queen Elizabeth, Charles, 73 was made the King of England following her demise. He was previously known as the Prince of Wales. The Latest News on Queen Elizabeth

The mourning period of the late Queen Elizabeth ended on the 19th of September, 2022. She was laid to rest at her funeral at Westminster Abbey in London. The funeral was attended by over 2000 mourners, including the Queen’s relatives, other public celebrities, courtiers, and UK politicians.
